Hello, I'm Shippo. Welcome to my cozy den. The picture to the left is of me. I am the kitsune from the Sengoku Jidai (Feudal Japan Era). It is the Age of the Warring Provinces, a long troubled period in Japanese history, starting with the Ônin War (1467-1477) and ending with the final victory of the Tokugawa on the Toyotomi clan (1584?). Anyway, I lost his family to demons as the Thunder Brothers killed my father. When I first met up with Inu Yasha and Kagome, I transformed into a giant pink ball and threatened to kill Inuyasha (apparently by biting his head off) if he didn't hand over the jewel shards. I wanted the shards so that I could become stronger and kill the Thunder Brothers to avenge my father's death. Kistune like me can shape-shift and they like to sometimes play tricks, and I'm no exception. I can transform into almost any form I wish, although sometimes they are messed up and incomplete. I turned himself into Kagome one time, but I still had the tail. The same thing happened when I tried to turn into Koga. I looked exactly like the wolf-youkai, but instead of the long wolf tail, I had the fluffy fox tail. I've turned into the giant pink ball and also into a bow (like bow & arrows), rat, and other people. I can also create toys, like they top that expands and is used as a distraction. And I can split myself into copies of myself to help confuse the enemy even more. This illusion can also send out help signals. When Kagome and I were kidnapped by Koga, I left a trail of mushrooms that cry which let the Inu Yasha group to me and Kagome. Fox Fire (Kitsune Bi) is another of my attacks, it's a blue fire, but it doesn't do much since I'm so young. The first episode where I was met, I used a statue with a scroll on it to keep Inu Yasha from following me. After Inu Yasha saved me and killed the Thunder Brothers, I decided to stay with them because I have no parents anyway. Kagome treats me very kindly and I started to look up to her like a mother-figure, while Inu Yasha is just completely annoyed with me. Here is a list of my attacks, they're listed below.
